Dear Santa, it would be great if you could get me a phone. I want a phone because all my little cousins have phones and it makes me sad that I do not have a phone. I would like a new controller because my one broke. I would want a new surfboard so I can go surfing on the waves. I would like some money. because I need money for my mom's present. I would like an apple watch so I can know the time. I would like to have my Christmas at the beach and that is the thing I want to thank you Santa from Kayla.

HOW TAIPA GOT ITS NAME

  HOW  TAIPA  GOT  ITS  NAME

There are three stories of Taipa.

 

The first story was a long time ago there were two chiefs and one was called kauri. They were friends and then they started to fight over Taipa. They had a river that was filled with shellfish and fish. Every time they put their hands in the water there was shellfish or a fish in their hands.

 

The second story the fights were not good and they were not friends anymore .They came to a conclusion. They decided to split the beach .They said the maori word for sea water is tai and the maori word for touch is pa. So they named the beach Taipa. They like the name Taipa so they kept the name.

The last story was about a tidal wave that submerged over the village.All of the people in the village were so scared all their homes were gone and after all that the shellfish and fish were all gone from the river .The survivors called the place taipa tai-meaning tide and pa-meaning village and that is how taipa got its name.dy Kayla

A long long time ago there was a city called sun city the biggest meeting for the animlWas happening in their city they didn’t know what the meeting was for but they went to the meeting and when they got there they see kids in the Mitel of them and the kids called the meeting the kids' names were Anne and tam-tam the animals had to listen to the kids but little did they know it was a cheap the meeting was called by an evil animal the animal only wanted the sun city for himself and he wanted to be the king of sun city but the animals in sun city didn’t want he to be the king so he made a bell with the kids the dill was if he got the sun city he will let there mum and dad and them go home to be a family again so the kids. So the kids took the animals to the forest to play hide and seek and when they got there. There was an animal in the forest. It was the evil animal they didn’t know that the evil animal was in the forest. They started the game, the kids ran to their home and stayed in their home. They locked the door.
